Practical support for ministry leaders

Strengthening
Ministries.
Changing
Trajectories.

MissionVector is a faith-based ministry helping organizations that serve children impacted by foster care launch well, grow stronger, and find a way forward through difficult seasons.

The Mission

Strong ministries can change the course of a child's life.

MissionVector exists to strengthen the ministries that create safe, consistent, life-giving relationships with children impacted by foster care. We come alongside leaders with experience, perspective, and practical help so their ministries can become healthier, more sustainable, and better equipped to keep showing up for kids.

What We Do

Different seasons need different kinds of help.

MissionVector is built around three kinds of work: helping ministries start well, helping healthy ministries become stronger, and walking with leaders when something isn't working.

01 · Launch

Start with a strong foundation.

For new chapters and ministries.

Think through leadership, church support, fundraising, timelines, volunteer development, locations, referral relationships, and the practical pieces that need to be in place before year one.

02 · Strengthen

Make a good ministry healthier.

For ministries that want to grow without burning out.

Improve systems, develop leaders, share ownership, simplify operations, strengthen volunteer culture, and address the places where too much currently depends on too few people.

03 · Restore

Find a way forward.

For difficult seasons.

Work through leadership gaps, burnout, conflict, volunteer challenges, financial pressure, declining participation, or other issues that are making the ministry harder to sustain.

For Chapter Leaders

You don't have to have everything figured out before reaching out.

MissionVector is already beginning to work directly with chapter leaders while the larger organization takes shape. A first conversation isn't an application or an assessment. It's simply a chance to understand your chapter, hear what's going well, talk honestly about what's hard, and see whether some outside experience could help.

Launching something new?

Let's talk through what needs to be in place before year one and what can wait until later.

Feeling stuck?

Let's sort through what's happening and decide what deserves attention first.

Carrying too much?

Let's look at what depends on you and how to build a stronger team around the mission.

Walking through a hard season?

Sometimes an experienced outside perspective can help you see options that are hard to see from inside the problem.

“In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

About MissionVector

Built from years inside the work.

MissionVector was founded by Nick Sherrill after more than a decade serving in Royal Family KIDS leadership, including five years as a camp director and helping launch a new chapter in Western Kentucky.

Along the way, he has seen both how powerful these ministries can be and how heavy leadership becomes when the right people, systems, funding, or support aren't in place.

MissionVector grew from a simple idea: experienced ministry leaders shouldn't have to figure out every difficult season alone. The work is practical and relational, shaped around what each local ministry actually needs, with the goal of helping local leaders build something healthy enough to keep carrying the mission forward.
